For February, posting will be lighter. My goal is one per week. For those in a temperate zone, we are entering the real middle of winter, when there may be a small thaw and you can glimpse the end but it is still more than a month away. The pandemic is probably making everyone more cabin fever than normal for this time of year. Vaccines are a light at the end of the tunnel, but like the end of winter we can see it even though it is still far away.

I am sure everyone has collected all of their tax forms and is eagerly awaiting for the day to fill out the annual paperwork and file with the IRS. It is truly the most joyous of times. For those who don’t find happiness in filling out a 1040, I volunteer with Prepare and Prosper, a non profit that does taxes for lower income taxpayers and small business. They are a great resource for people who need help with taxes but don’t have money to hire a preparer. The pandemic has thrown everything off, so I will be starting later in the year in a different role than in the past. However, because I know it will eat my free time I am limiting blog posts. Most likely March and April will be light as well.

Happy Imbolc to all who celebrate! May everyone do their annual home cleansing/ cleaning to bring luck and prosperity the rest of the year. Time to decide what seeds to plant, both literal and figurative. May everyone stay safe, and may the pandemic not have a last surge that I really hope we don’t get.
